What is The Patti Fund?

The Patti Fund helps families that need support but may not have the financial means to obtain it. The Patti Fund is already quoted with your hourly rate. Your contribution helps someone else get J’aide.

Patti was my J’aide when I had my 2.5 year old son and just had given birth to my daughter. To say I was overwhelmed is a not an accurate description. Rather, I was very lost, I felt alone and I was surviving.

Then along came Patti. Her and I had been street friends for a while, but then she became my saviour. She made food, took my dog for walks, and would hold my little fussy girl while I could take a shower or eat a warm meal. Patti would help fold laundry, bring my son to her place for swim times and lunches, but most of all, Patti was THERE. She was in my space or a phone call away and she ALWAYS wanted to help.

We honour her, this kind, unselfish, understanding person who knew exactly what I was going through by calling our surplus collection, “The Patti Fund”.

For every hour worked, J’aide puts $2.50 of the earnings away for a family that needs our support but cannot afford it.
